Tell me you've never seen him play... flexibility, dude is a better athlete than anyone in this class and as good as I've ever seen. Think Julius Peppers

He’s not Julius peppers lol. More like Jared Cook. Good athlete. He’s a big coordinated N/S guy. Doesn’t move well laterally.

I haven’t seen Green juke a defender yet Les. How much wiggle are you expecting him to have at 6’7 ?

Not so much juking. But green runs routes and after the catch like a WR. Starting/stoping, turning up field on flat routes, etc. Rare for a guy that tall to move like that. Most are linear athletes like Hudson. Hudson still wins in different ways, and I think has a better chance to be a 2 way TE than Green

Green is incredibly smooth for his size. You don't see Travis Kelce juking people out of their shoes like he's a scat back but his ability to glide past defenders is one of his biggest strengths, both before and after the catch.

Never seen Hudson play, but I think what Lester is saying is much more a compliment to Green than anything negative towards Hudson

I think Green is more like Jimmy Graham, who was the prototype for bendy TE’s 6’6” +.

Hudson is more like Gronk, who was a fine athlete but a bit more of a bully with the ball & a much better blocker.

Hudson absolutely bully’s high school kids after the catch. It’s just hard to determine if it is because he is so much larger than them, or if he has truly elite play-strength like a guy like Gronk had.

He did it at Ruston..He will do it at LSU.

It is a FAR cry from jumping in midseason against HS basketball teams where 90% of the competition is smaller and much less athletic than you vs. jumping in midseason vs SEC competition where there are plenty of dudes as big and athletic as you.

As much as we would love to see him play both sports at LSU, it's just really difficult for a guy to spend virtually 9-10 months preparing for and playing one sport to be able to come in and excel at another. It's possible he could grow OUT of being a football player. Reports are he is 6'6-6'7 now. That's kind of getting to the upper range of most TEs. If he continues to grow to say 6'9+ I think basketball may be his better bet

He's the #1 TE in the country and in the top 25 basketball player rankings. He may decide on one sport. Who knows? I'll sit back and watch. I hope he's successful.

Enjoying the ridiculous scouting report on Hudson from people who don't see him play every week. If you watched the state championship game last year you'll see everything you need to see from his route running, YAC and ability to juke people.

I think he can be more of a traditional TE than Trey Dez. I don’t think he has TreyDez’s flexibility or lateral agility, tho.

Watching his basketball highlights, I don't feel like this is the case.
