All that being said…it feels like she can’t own up to shite. If something she did wasn’t successful, well the reason why “to her” is cause her skin is black.

You are hearing what you want to hear. The statement is 100% true. LSU women's bball has never had the excitement that it does under Mulkey! Just straight up fact! Granted Mulley is the most successful coach we have had for the girls, so there is that. She has earned it. The excitement is warranted.

I didn't like her comments. Totally unnecessary and while she may have been defending Fargas it was insulting and dismissive towards Mulkey and all she had accomplished. It felt like a very racially based comment to me. Here Mulkey was having all this success at the time and Staley had to make comments about the previous coach.

I don't like when current coaches are giving opinions on how other schools should run their teams. That's trash. Mulkey has earned whatever support it would take. Just as say Saban earned whatever he needed. Only a handful of coaches are on that level. I'm not sure if anybody has done what Mulkey has done by doing it at two schools in such a short amount of time.

Side rant*. Speaking of Saban, I remember Moscona saying Woodward was likely consulting Saban on his last football coaching search. I'm sorry, but I don't care how great of a football mind Saban may be, I would not trust input from a rival who was still currently recruiting and coaching against your program. So I don't know if that was true or not, but if so, that's ridiculous. I don't care how close of friends they are.

This class is in way better shape than last years. The plan is to sign up to 3-4 players at least
