As we stand now, for those of you who like to star gaze, we’ve signed 3 five star recruits and 11 four star recruits.... yet just about everyone is bitching and melting. I don’t get it.. have we, as a fanbase, become this entitled and spoiled? There are probably 120+ schools that would switch places with LSU in a heartbeat

For those of you who are bitching and complaining, you gotta stop over analyzing everything so much. We literally broke every offensive record this year, won the west, won the SEC, have the potential for a top 5/10 recruiting class, and have ourselves sitting pretty in the CFB - yet y’all are still here saying yeah man but what about ______’

How can y’all enjoy anything in life? How can you be in complete catastrophe syndrome meltdown mode at a time like this? As a program we have almost everything going for us right now, yet you’d swear we were looking at a Vanderbilt-esque decade of misery and suffering when it comes to football

I honestly don’t get it. Someone please explain

While I agree with your premise, we have signed
Two 5* recruits. No, I’m not complaining about that either. It’s mainly because we lost Jarrett and Burton out of nowhere, and I think some people are irritated that we let guys walk especially in state kids, because we were told we would get these insane much higher targets elsewhere, and that’s not seeming to come true.

All of this and two of our best offensive recruits flipped.

Ricks
Gilbert
Sampah?

Even with two, how many schools have two?

Are you high? TE Arik Gilbert ring a bell? Highest rated TE in 247 recruiting history? Gatorade national player of the year?

I mean both of you are correct with your posts. We did lose two of our best offensive recruits but we did keep our #1 player. I wouldnt be shocked if the word got out that they are telling Arik he is going to play WR alot more than initially thought and that made some of the other WR commits want to look elsewhere. Somewhere where they can shine

This recruiting season isn’t over young man.
Every year we get a surprise.
I learned many years ago, don’t judge a recruiting class by the first day of early signing.

I think the reason for the melt is this.

Two long time recruits, in the top 10 at their position, flipped on signing day. Both have NFL written all over them.

We processed some really good in state talent that had been committed to us for a long time in the hopes of landing others, at least one(Burch) that did not happen.

That combination does not have a good look.

Sampah isn’t a 5 star on 247, Rivals, ESPN, and therefore composite. Not complaining just pointing out he is not rated as a 5*
