To me this means we are losing eason and Reid along with days and Pinson
But the roster will still be really good
Yohan Tarore
Devin Ree
Marvel Allen (if he reclassifies)
Eric Gaines
Alex Fudge
Brandon Murray
Julian Phillips
Mwani Wilkinson
Justice Williams
Shareef O’Neal
Adam Miller
I do think either Murray might test the NBA waters or we might lose Justice Williams to transfer

I think we are more likely to lose Wilkinson than either Murray or Williams. He's athleticism helps, but he is a liability with the ball in hands and he still gets absolutely lost on defense (makes up for it many times with athleticism, but also leaves him vulnerable to stupid fouls, how many times has he fouled a 3 point shooter because he was out of position and was trying to recover and block the shot).

Been watching what I could find on him and he is more in the mold of the modern day basketball big than Efton is. Wondering if he plays stronger/more physical.
Gaines is more physical than efton reid and he weighs like 170.
I like how wade saw that reid isn't what he hoped so he goes out and grabs the top center.

Wade loves Mwani, no way Wilkinson leaves

He looks much more aggressive in his highlights than Efton. I haven’t seen anything on his shot blocking ability tho. It was known that wasn’t part of Efton’s game coming out

He loved Hyatt too, but when the writing was on the wall, he moved on.

He’s nothing like Effon. He’s a modern PF in the amare stoudamire mold.
Reid is wasn’t a 5 star on Tape but it was hard to convince people otherwise

Don't count out Effton. Shaq too struggled his freshman year and fouled out a multitude of games. It takes time for some big men to develop.

I like him. He’s just kind of an ancillary player though, especially in a Wade offense.

No way you get rid of Reid over Bradley Ez or Colbert. Reid needs to eat the weights and get stronger, but I want him on the roster even if he plays less minutes next year.

Traore is a skilled, efficient, and productive big man with a good natural frame. His efficiency comes in how he generally plays within himself offensively and does what is asked of him on the floor. Traore displays a natural shooting touch not only inside but out to 15 feet and he always looks dunk everything he possibly can while operating inside or in the dunker spot. He also has great hands, is a solid rebounder, and runs the floor with purpose. Traore has the size, mobility, and skill as a big man that high major guards would love to play with.

I didn’t say they were getting rid of Reid

If we're being honest these recruiting sites hand out way too many 5 stars to bigs. You have some guys that are just different, Evan Mobley, Paolo Banchero, etc...but every year there are so many guys (specifically centers) that you can just watch prior to them getting to campus and you can tell they aren't deserving of that fifth star.

I hope this guy likes watching his wings play ISO ball 4/5th of the game. Better hope there are transition opportunities.

It’s easy for anyone who is 6’11” & somewhat coordinated to dominate 6’3” high school centers

It's a result of the way they play in the NBA. The role of a 7 footer has been reduced to blocks and rebounds which is hard to guage from a guy who is 6 inches taller than 90% of his competition. It's mostly projection with those guys. 7 foot human beings who are mobile enough to play any sport are rare so when you get a kid that big that can move well enough to play basketball he pretty much gets a high ranking just off that.

Not saying Reid won't improve but terrible comparison.
Shaq was raw but you could see he was gonna be a force.

I’ve seen a couple of mock drafts have him in first round with one having him at 14 I think. I’ve seen a couple with him in early 2nd round also
