2-4 for FL is a real possibility. Let's see how he feels in October

Put a little trust in BK and Sloan. These guys have been around and they certainly have a backup plan whether it's a portal guy or a QB who will now consider us now that Haven is apparently not coming. Once again BK was wise enough to take Jaden Daniels.

Who said he isn’t coming? New guy on the block. Leaning to Florida in August don’t mean he isn’t coming on signing day.

If the money is right these kids don’t care about the record. Look at Underwood.

When Napier and Riley get canned , we'll see who goes where, but I'm not worried about LSU and future Quarterbacks.

Will Billy even be at UF in 2027?

I dont think they’re going to make a huge jump this year.

Schools can’t afford to fire coaches like they used to. This idea that everyone will be bought out and fired and replace them with another high priced coach is not reality anymore.

It’s 16 months until he graduates. These kids change their mind weekly. I am not remotely going to start worrying about this until next fall.

Dom McKinley was committed until NYE of his SR season.

"Haven is apparently not coming". I said "apparently" didn't say he wouldn't wind up at LSU.

I know this isn't fair but as soon as I played his highlights I couldn't stop feeling anxious as it reminded me so much of Max Johnson.

I was told I didn’t know what I was talking about when I posted over a week ago that I didn’t hear good news about him and UF and Michigan were leading.

The issue there is banking on an impact guy in the portal who may not be there the year you need them. There wasn’t a very impressive group to choose from this season, unlike the previous year. So living off the portal at QB can definitely backfire.
Disagree. John Mateer would have been a monster in this offense. Can you see him and Caden Durham in the backfield?

Carson Beck had problems with turnovers like Nuss, however his WRs dropped more passes than anyone else in the country making him look worse. Improvement at LSU would have turned him into whatever elite passer Nuss will be this year.

Fernando Mendoza was a legit NFL talent at Cal. He is 6'5 225 and is a pure passer but also has wheels.

Darian Mensah, the guy from Tulane was a freshman last year and put up great numbers. He can run and has an NFL build. He would have also been elite and a heisman level player at LSU this year.

Maalik Murphy. Possibly the lowest of these 5, but he can really pass the ball. He definitely had an int problem at Duke, but as a first year starter he threw 26 TD passes breaking the single season passing record there. At 6'5 230 with a big arm, he is still really damn good and we could easily coach him up on not forcing some of those nonsensical ints.

There were plenty options if Nuss left, but personally I'm glad he returned. He can prove that it can pay to stay the course at one school.

Sloan struck out in 26 and 27 isn’t looking good

lol thinking that is what is drawing them elsewhere.

LSU has had 2 Heisman QBs in the last 6 years, and another one in the hunt this year. It clearly isn't about anything other than $$$$$.
