Good luck. We want players who commit to LSU.

So he committed to LSU bc of a HC with a DL background? Dude has been itching to decommit and now he has a reason. He’s just another Louisiana kid that Saban convinces that "you need me more than I need you". Saban is a master manipulator

So… since Coach O is coaching nowhere next year, then I suppose Anderson will just sit it out until O coaches again? Of course not. This has Saban’s smell all over it. Anderson’s been looking for a reason to decommit and this one, as absurd as it seems… was his chance.

If he goes to Bama, it’s no big deal. All their players are exactly the same. The best OL, the best DL, the best RB, the best WRs… past a certain point it doesn’t matter any more since there’s no drop off. When you play them, you play essentially the same team every year. So who gives a shite? The only variable is how good YOU are.

Coach O was the main reason I committed to LSU
but why?

That makes literally no sense at all. He isn’t part of your development as a WR and he isn’t part of the success you’d see on offense.

Other than a small set of coaches (e.g. Saban, or Riley for a QB), it is dumb to commit to a school solely because of who the HC is.

He’s also much more than a receiver. He’s a game changing punt returner and can be used a variety of ways. The coaching change had to be done but to pretend that AA wasn’t needed or that he was going to decommit anyway is just silly. This class will have some good players and be ok, but it won’t be a stellar year. We are going to get too far behind on many kids who would want to be talking to the coaches they’ll be playing for, not to mention the NIL stuff for a bunch of reasons.

One thing I don't worry about is WRs.

Get another lineman

Can confirm. But he said he will wait until new head coach is announced to decide.

That's fair. Hope Hill stays on board and Anderson likes what we have to offer him on his official visit in December.

I don't expect we get Anderson back, but who knows. Apparently he'll never turn his back on his hood, so...we'll see.

Yeah it's a wait and see approach. I believe the class will still finish strong in the end

I'm sure a lot of guys are going to have this mindset. In the end, it'll be alright. The transfer portal is a two way street.

It's crazy, I had kind of gotten burned out on recruiting and haven't been following it as closely as years past, but these past few weeks has rekindled my joy for it.

As soon as the new coach gets hired it will be really fun around here again. It's been dead slow the past two months. I'm interested in the rumor about Will Campbell decommitting and looking around.

I follow some LSU recruiting pages on instagram that have said he's going to look around at possibly OU and Ohio State. They're just fan pages ran by youngsters but they do interview/message each other.
