Another big move up saw Carius Curne rise 133 spots to 65th in America, along with Charles Ross up to 42nd overall.
Jaiden Braker, Aidan Anding and Jacob Bradford all entered the Top247, checking in at 136, 155 and 170, respectively.

Looks like our DBs and LBs saw a big jump while our DE's saw a big dip. Really hope we get Stewart.

Yeaaa based on these updated rankings it looks like a classic LSU db class a lot of athleticism, length and ball skills were adding to that room. But man the DE class looks spotty lol. Like you said that’ll all change if we can get Stewart to commit

Those were good times.
some people just don't understand the ranking cycle.

quote:Yep. The entire DLine is actually pretty lowly ranked, not just DEs. At least we are getting some bodies and they are mostly 4-stars.

From what I’ve seen this season, I think Bo Davis will coach up the guys coming in and turn them into solid players. No matter their ranking

I think Curne will end up starting somewhere year 1 for us. He's like a Campbell or Jones and is too good to keep off the field.

We’ve had great players including our guys this year, but you know what I mean.

Kade Phillips moving up would give two Corners ranked in the top 50, one in the top 10. Braker and Ross are now ranked as top LBs.
I figured Anding would get a nice bump, but didn't see the Bradford one coming. Defensive Back as a whole is looking stout.
I can't believe the services aren't higher on TaRon Francis, though. I think he should be at least in the top 150 or higher. His film reminds me of Boutte. You'd think services would start to adjust for WRs from the boot after watching Sunday football , but not with this class.
Both of our EDGEs dropped. I still think they'll be nice additions if they stick. Shanklin reminds me of Josh Mickens, and it's not easy pulling and keeping guys from Indiana.

2 edge/DE in the top 140 is lowly ranked? Williams is also a top 250 guy at DT

Well Maason Smith was supposed to be a freak, but that never panned out lol

You just contradicted yourself. They’re low ranked , yet they’re 4 stars.

Most exicting to me:
quote:
Kade Phillips #37
Phillips is a truly elite athlete with uncommon verified athletic markers. His 24-foot, 7-inch long jump in March put him in the top 15 in the entire country, regardless of class, on the MileSplit USA national leaderboard. He also ripped a 21.50 200 and cracked the coveted 50.00-second 400-meter threshold for good measure. Just an electric athlete, a 6-footer with an almost 6-6 wingspan, ball skills, limitless potential."

There’s a good chance we have to two most athletic cornerbacks in the entire class in dj Pickett and Kade Phillips. Both have freakish combo of length, speed and quickness

ON3 final ranking for Bradyn Swinson was 488 nationally at 88.07.....he really benefitted from coming here!
