Yes, because teams with higher ranked recruiting classes do better than ones with lower ranked classes despite whatever exception you have locked and loaded ready to throw out.

They listed Marcus Scott II as a three star too. This is probably fair. He doesn't show athletic attributes that jump off the film however does show a lot of potential. He looks like one of those kids that with dedication to strength and conditioning he's going to get better and better. He does have a five star frame. Just doesn't have five star athleticism, yet. With that said one attribute that jump out of his film is spacial awareness which leads to great breaks on the ball, anticipation and high pointing the ball. Those are natural talents and hard to teach and he has them. I can see why the coaches like Scott. He has an excellent base to build upon.

Anyone know why it says walker Howard's a dual threat qb on his profile but in the spot that shows where Hes ranked in the country state and position, it says hes the 2nd ranked pro style qb in the country.

Was it just a mistake or what?

They probably have two database attributes for QB because QB is broken into two categories, dual and pro. The different 247 webpages are pulling from different cells under the QB category. They need to fix that.

Should clarify that these guys did not actually have their ratings lowered--they were just jumped by dudes who had their ratings go up. Their actual ratings are the same as they were before.



As a side note, this is the reason why so many fanbases think that 247 has it out for their guys--because, due to the nature of how rankings work, there will, by definition, almost always be more guys who fall than who rise. For example: If a kid ranked #240 jumps up to #150, then there's 1 kid whose ranking goes up, and 90 kids whose rankings go down. That's why you should only really pay attention to the big jumps or drops, not the drops of one or two or five spots.
