At his size, might he be a great RB? Or at least used like Zavion or Jujuan? If he has the ball skills, with that speed, seems like you’d want him on the field to get some touches like that

The Swilling brothers were pretty bigtime recruits, particularly Bruce.
ETA: Last bigtime player from BM at LSU was probably Will Clapp.

True. I can't read. Will Clapp is probably the correct answer. Raion was a stud, though. Easton Royal will probably go down as the best. I just wonder if he dips out for an IMG type school after the season.

Watched St Paul’s live and it was nasty. He just glides into open space and is gone. He’s got some Chase in his game, at least with the ball in his hands.

Yes..the question referenced elite athletes from Brother Martin who decided to attend LSU. I prefaced, not specific to football but Tre (Trey sp), is someone I would consider an elite athlete

That's another discussion. Tre Morgan and DJ Augustin would be in that discussion. Tre has a younger brother at BM right now - plays baseball and football.

Obviously people know about Royal, but i don't know how he isn't burning the airwaves like Harlem Berry was at the same time.
That speed is going to make him insanely coveted once everybody else notices. LSU is likely heavy as hell on him early.
Remember all the talk was Houston to USC and then maybe Oklahoma. All of a sudden we get RPMs for him, ans then he picks us with a video already locked and loaded.
Hopefully Royal sees how good Houston is and wants to join in.

They just can’t complete a forward pass. Or are scared to attempt throwing it down field.

All 3 tds in this game were downfield passes. Defense didn't look like anything special, but you can see Royal's speed in the clip in this thread. He can be the next Zavion Thomas for us. Hope we get him.

Yes they were. Not in week 1 though. He is a way better prospect than Zavion Thomas, who I like & respect. He is in Ja’Marr Chase’s class as a prospect.

He cant run a route to save his life at least in that offense. Also jamar was a lot more physical than he is right now.
