Freshman at WM, just committed to LSU. Monster football player too. His brother Jacob was committed to LSU as well before going to the Angels.

I hope so. He’s an absolute terror running the ball.

Their dad was a heck of a baseball player. Mom must have some great genes as well.

Didn't Jacob screw up his shoulder playing football? Would that affect Josh's choice to play football?

Yes he did, but Jacob was a completely different body makeup. Josh is 5’9” 200 right now. I don’t know if Jacob is 200 pounds at 20 years old.

Just watched his football highlights

He's an awkward lookin player but man that kid can play.

It'll be interesting to see how he develops from as size stand-point.

Looks like a future freak ILB to me.

He was at least a year older than most of those kids in those football highlights as he had been 15 for a while (WM holdback). Kids will catch up with him on the football field. Baseball is his sport and he is fun to watch.

We are far from the first school to grab a 2022 commit. In fact, some schools are working as far down as 2024. It's dumb, but that's what is happening nowadays.

Kids who don't even have driver's licenses or haven't even gone to their first day of freshman year are already picking their college. Not a fan of it.

Thats ridiculous, especially with baseball. I’ve seen guys peak as freshman and sophomores. There’s litterally so much that can happen in 4-6 years, what’s the point?

Baseball is different than football. Seems like baseball always grabs kids super early. I guess it’s due to MLB, but you would think going after a kid this early would only make the MLB Scouts Pay more attention. I’ve known the family for a long time. Outstanding group that are just great people, all of them. They’re all studs. There’s one more in 7th grade that we call Baby Thor.

Do you know what position Tom Biggs is expected to play at LSU? I haven't been able to find a ton of info on him.

Not sure. I would think of him like Bain. He has a nasty curve and enough velocity, but could easily DH too.

Yeah, I was thinking of him kind of like Will Ripoll.

Bain's performance is going to benefit a lot of the freshmen. Hill, Ripoll, and a few others will probably get to bat in the fall.
