There is plenty of talent to be had there. But I can’t for the life of me understand why we are taking 4-5 safeties this year if we have two out of staters committed next year plus at least 2 more in staters that are must takes. We’re going to have 10-11 safeties on the roster.
On another note, I love this class for CB. Love Rodgers. Looks like we could be getting Earl Little. Give me Welch too.

Ryan is projected more as a nickel corner, and Matthews is possibly growing into an OLB, as he's up to 210-215 as a HS junior.

If we land 2 of the guys on your list, I’d be ecstatic. There is a lot of out of state interest, no doubt, but those guys are some of the most sought after recruits in the country.

No doubt, completely agree with quarterback out of the way Campbell is priority number 1.
Good news on that front is that his family is all LSU, and I believe all of 247s LSU guys already have CBs for him to LSU.
Most of the chatter I hear is very positive and pro-LSU. That said, I also agree with you that we will inevitably have to fend off Saban. However, the blue chip tackles that Bama is signing for 2021 class Well hopefully deter high end tackles for 2022 somewhat. Based on their success recruiting that position Shirley high end guys coming down the pipe won’t be naive enough to believe early playing time is in the cards!!

I don’t have any clue on LB for 22. Maybe one of our DBs become an OLB as previously mentioned. But I looked through the list of offered and I don’t see anyone that pops out as having ties to LSU or Louisiana. 322, Dwright, capt., or Tigerboy do y’all have an idea for Lb?
