Damn we pulling out all the stops for QB's in 17'. We will have a hell of a log jam if all the offers are excepted

Definitely transitioning to more of a spread scheme. 2018 QB Cameron Rising is the guy though.

it's like the exact opposite of last season when we locked in on one guy only all year

FIFY. Now we're after seemingly every 3* dual threat who turns his head when we say hello.

The spread? His highlights are almost exclusively from under center...despite him being black. Shocker, right?

Yep I hope so but if you notice last year that it was execution an sometimes wide receivers just dropping really catchable passes this year we are Jr and senior heavy so it will be hard not to at least have a championship in mind

Damn, I've only seen 3 minutes, but how is this kid only a 3 star?

Yes, I want this guy. Plus he seems like he'd be a hell of a lot easier to get compared to the others we've offered.

Let's push hard for this one.

There were insiders a few months ago that were adamant that changes were coming to more of a spread/shotgun offense...then we hire a QB/WR coach that has had success in more of a spread system...now all the offers to spread qbs...I think Miles saw "his life flash before his eyes" this fall, I think we see a different offense this year. I think we see a real change this year.

He's got some natural arm talent. Get whip on the ball and big enough hands to tote it around with ease. He keeps his head down field. Didn't get to see him set his feet and throw too much.....his o line is as bad as Narcisse's.

But most of his snaps came from under center. Kid has impressive footwork too.. This might be the mythical QB both Les and Cam have been searching for.

Did you even watch the highlights? He was on the move and escaping pressure a lot of the time. I don't think it's a stretch at all to think we're offering players who can run a spread offense.

This is what I loved to see. About 95% of his highlights were under center and he is a pass first QB all the way. His touch on the ball is good too along with his footwork. He's very accurate as well on his highlights and statistically. Completed 64% of his passes as a sophomore and 63.7% of his passes as a junior.

So you have a pro style QB who plays under center but has the speed of a WR or DB. LSU needs to hit him hard before others catch wind.
