With Paris and Possibly Hootie or Adams at safety why would we recruit Peppers to play safety?

Paris is playing corner, he basically told the staff to gtfo with all the safety talk. He wants to follow in pp7's footsteps..

I'm a little worried about Hootie after seeing some of his interviews. I think his a little less of a lean than some would have you believe. Just my opinion though...

Where would you guys say we stand with Jackson? I remember everyone being all excited about him saying LSU is his dream team, but I feel like things have faded.

CB Hardeman
CB Brown
CB/S Paris
S Jones
S Johnson

I hope we can get Hall.
Also watch Kameron Mcknight. He could end up as a S in this class

I trust you above most on here, so if you think we will get Hootie, I will believe you (and I am glad you think so).

I echo what someone else said, I am most worried about him (this is conjunction with the player that I want the most, that is simultaneously is on the edge).

Maybe it means nothing in the long run, but after learning that Hootie and Brown both made it to the Bama spring game instead of ours, I don't know what to think. Previously, I thought we had a slight lead for Hootie and a solid one for Brown. Now, I can see Hootie possibly going to Gumpville and Brown not being the strong lock I thought, even though family ties would seem to dictate he chooses LSU. Hope we land them both.

Some people are saying we told him we wanted him at safety and he wasn't interested in playing safety. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but shortly after the visit it became clear that we were no longer as seriously in the mix.

Unless Michigan and Stanford have disappointing seasons and we have an outstanding one, I have strong doubts we'll be in contention. Even then, it's still unlikely.

I'd rather go all-out after Jackson, Brown, Jones and wait for those dominos to fall before we start entertaining second-tier options, to be honest. Do we really need 6 DBs in this class?

Just a reminder to everyone: Ed Paris a consensus top 25 player in the country!

Seems like he doesn't get enough credit on this board sometimes.
