Some constructive criticism for the early parts of the thread:
If you start to cull the players we are no longer recruiting, or no longer in contention for, it will provide more space to go further into detail on the commitments and high priority targets. Adding stories, more profiles, pics, etc.

For 2015, do you think we go after Hunter Dale or Kevin Henry

Reda, do you know these kids or something?

Kevin Henry is going to be a highly rated 4* maybe even 5* before it's over. Definitely a top safety in the country. He has great size 6'1" 190-200 lbs and he's pretty quick. Great instincts and tackling ability so much that he could grow into a LB. The recruiting for LSU even after 2014 seems very bright in state. If we don't land Hootie. Kevin is a must get.

Will Upchurch remain at WR and does he play other positions?
That's one big mofo. He reminds me of Justin Blackmon at WR. This class is already underrated.

2015 OL Garrett Thomas from Many High School is my cousin, I visited with him and his family this weekend, he is now about 6 ft 6 1/2 305-307. He has attended the camps at Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. He has 5 offers at the moment. Michigan(His first offer), T.C.U., Auburn, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt. He is a very good football player, a very kind, respectful and soft spoken kind of guy and also very intelligent with a 4.0 GPA! We are all so very proud of him!
Good Luck and God Bless you Garrett, We all love you~! Below is a link to a couple of videos on nola.com of the top Louisiana H.S. Football Prospects doing the Harlem Shake. I think they did these videos at the New Orleans Saints Practice Facility, he is in the back of the video number 79 in black (Many High School).
His mother said he was kind of shy during the video lol. We are hoping he gets an LSU offer soon, his Parents said the coaches at LSU and Alabama are showing interest in him and i was told that his picture along with other top prospects are in a few of the LSU Coaches office's!

Garrett is definitely on LSU's radar. There have been several articles on the premium recruiting sites on him. He is one of the top OL in the 2015 class. He's obviously got great size and is pretty agile for a 300 pounder. Going to the camps and visiting on the junior days (I think he went to Auburn's too) like he has is helping him get his name out there and helping him get better. His picture, a link to his profile and a link to his video are on page two of this thread. He's also in the 2015 thread that will replace this one by February.
Hope Many has a great 2013 season and we also hope he is a part of the 2015 LSU class.
Here's his 2012 Highlights

This.
I see we have a couple of other "interested", just wondering if they're legit targets and how we plan to make up for losing Robinson.

As far as a possible CamRob replacement, two names that have surfaced have my interest. They are two OT's from Missouri:
Roderick Johnson
Roderick Johnson 247 profile
Brian Wallace
Brian Wallace 247 profile
Memphis said in another thread today that the staff may start pushing for them, maybe Johnson first.

These are definitely guys they are looking at. They were both high on Bama but might not be wanting to go there now with them already having five OL committed for 2014. You'd think The Tigers would look good since LSU is closer to them too.

I believe we're after Damien Mama from California, too.

I wonder who will be "the big surprise" at the end of this cycle? There always seems to be one. Maybe one of these O-line prospects.

Brick Haley is usually the guy that brings in the surprises. Jimmy Smith thinks LSU is still in it for Travonte Valentine but if Miami keeps winning, he'll be a hard pull.

According to this Free Scout article, Mama has only set up three official visits. Would be nice if LSU got his fourth or fifth one.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive guard Damien Mama set up his third official visit, to Notre Dame, and will be in South Bend on October 19th, when the Irish host USC.

Jimmy talked with Valentine. NOLA.com
quote:
"Taking a visit during the homecoming would be good," Valentine said, due to the fact that the October 26th date LSU has with Furman for homecoming is also Champagnat's bye week. "I would get a chance to see the tradition and environment; it would be a nice day."
quote:
"Mike (Champagnat safety Michael Johnson) will probably come with me. He really likes LSU, too," Valentine said.

Mama and Mixon are playing college together and Mixon isn't coming to LSU so mama is out of the picture. Expect them both at USC believed
