The irony is that Oregon never struggled for skill position players. They always did well above average at the skill positions. Their biggest issues were linemen OL/DL. Those guys just don't exist up there and it's hard to find high quality linemen to begin with.


He would have done better spending that money on a top OT or DL than a WR.

2 things can be true.

1. Phil Knight (net worth 33 billion) can help Oregon NIL with his own money and not use nike funds.

2. Nike (net worth 110 billion) will be fine without accepting funds from anyone on this board.

Colleges will quit signing Nike contracts if they undermine recruiting. It is the lifeblood of every program.
