Not including that Oregon has one of the highest tax rates! He’s going to pay way more in taxes on that money there in Oregon.

When you are 18 yrs old 1.3 million seems like all the money in the world.
Plus how many members of family/posse are going to share in that?

That's what Nahlin is saying. I guess the number could be true. Not sure I buy it but I'm sure it's closer than I think. Lot of money. All the crying, what did Texas offer? Couldn't have been much less. Don't cry, pay or move on. Ffrench/Lockett are licking their chops.
Reading their boards, that's how you melt. Guys racked up more posts in a couple of hours than we have in days on a topic. Its glorious. Even through the night and day of reports leading towards Oregon, they held firm. As their mods let them down slowly, they held firm. Thamel, Hopkins and others leak his choice, still they held firm. Then they sat through that joke of an Instagram commitment. Talk about a glutton for punishment. Fans never see what's clear for them to see.

Cortez-Sloan can take a 3- star and make him a 1-2 rounder. Oregon will make this kid a UDFA

Hope he likes it up there and doesn’t rethink things. He’s probably burned his bridges at other programs with all the flirting and leading on

Let's not say crazy stuff because we are mad. Oregon offense is built to get the ball to it's playmakers out in the open. If he puts in the work, he will be fine it's not like he is going to a run heavy style offense.
I agree on our staff can find someone else.

I’ve been moving more and more toward finding other ways to spend my Saturdays anyway since the media started shoving politics in my face during football games. The nil and open transfer stuff has made it really easy to care so little.
That’s kinda sad bc I used to love college sports but as I get older my perspective gets healthier lol.

That’s total probably. Four years 1.3 million

I honestly don’t think it has to do with money at all with Moore. I think it’s just relationships and where he felt loved.

College sports are over. Just call it the minor leagues of whatever sport they are playing in. I will watch to see how it all unfolds but after 45 years of having LSU football tickets I may start selling mine on the open market and just stay home.
The 1908 LSU team was accused of having professional players. Why? Because there were professional players all over college football.
SMU had the best team money could buy in the 70s.
In the late 90s/2000s, it was Miami..
Football has always paid player.
Always has; always will.

That "love" will disappear pretty quickly if he doesn't perform up to expectations. They "love" his athletic abilities and what they believe he can do for their football team.

Todd Graves let us down once again. His 5 piece combo is more expensive than ever. His chicken fingers are smaller. Yet he can’t even push a cool $1.5M to DK Moore.
At least he buys us Jell-O shots.

You see with how many kids have left schools after chasing the $$. They go somewhere they don’t want to be to begin with. Whether it’s family pressure to change their circumstances. Then they show up to campus and college sports are hard. The grind day in and day out is brutal. You have to be at the place that is more than just a money grab. What I’m saying will sound like crying from the programs that are paying up, but from watching the portal and pressures being put on kids from the $ when things aren’t what they seem they bolt. “Respect my decision”

How can anyone be mad or not understand why this young man took that money? This America, money talks.
