All it's gonna do is knock over a couple of chairs, and a few limbs right? /sarcasm.
Hope everyone in the area stays safe

A lot of places worse than Katrina.
National media will be bored with it by tomorrow though because no black people huddled at Superdome or Convention Center.

Yeah but it is just sitting there. Most of New Orleans, BR, etc that seemed to be so worried won't see something like this, but water overtopped the levees down there earlier.

It'll be interesting to hear if there was a levee breach or if this is a result of all the levee protection afforded to other areas after Katrina.
Either way, God Bless those people.

Anyone hear the conditions at Venice Marina? One of my good friends has a houseboat there and am hoping it's still good.

Um. Yes that pic is still funny
So this was the point when you decided to post that pic in hopes of what?
All I get from it is that you're a smug prick

And a lot of places are way better than Katrina. Every storm is different. The path the storm took and the speed is the difference with this one.
I have tons of family in plaquemines parish and some are unharmed while others got flooded worse than Katrina.

My dad lives in Laplace and they think the levee breached there. he was on top of his house until a boat came and picked him up. The only reason he didn't evacuate is because he was going to the LSU game. Lost everything in the process.
