Anyone know if Autumn Creek off of 22 in Madisonville is getting any water?

As of 8:30, No water. Hardware store on 22 has 2' of water but that's still a little ways away.

It flickered a few times around 5 AM, then went out for good around 6:15 AM. We've been running the generator since then. I walked around the neighborhood a little. Not really any trees down, just branches and limbs here and there. Power is out all over the neighborhood up until downtown. They still had it around 7 PM.

Damn, thats crazy.

How are all of ya"ll fairing?

I lost power here 3 miles east of Ponchy at 1pm. Looks like things are very slowly dying down. Hopefully by morning work can begin on getting power back.

That is insane. Never seen it like that as long as I've lived on northshore.

SPS Alumi: Do you all still wear your retreat cross necklaces? I don't but I still know a few that do. I did wear it a while after we got it though.

This might be germans but there's a major weather band coming thru slidell right now. Radar shows it may be over us for a good while. This is definitely the hardest wind and rain so far since this all started. Hope this lets up soon.

Anyone else have reports from Kingspoint/Springhill and surrounding areas?

Doing ok here in TCC at the front of the neighborhood. Back of its flooded. My dads place at port Louis probably not doing so well although it doesn't look like there is water in the condos yet. However the south wind/rain is still kicking, hopefully the worst is over. My sister had to evacuate from the front of guste island road. I anyone knows if those front neighborhoods flooded please let me know

Not sure if this is old news, but a buddy just said Madisonville is a mandatory evacuation right now

With water that high, how the hell do they expect people to evacuate?

I'd have to imagine the bridge by the post office is flooded as well. So idk where they'd go.
