is it any surprise that lower lying areas are flooding with a fricking hurricane sitting 20 miles offshore for half a day? no shite you couldn't drive to venice billy! there's a fricking hurrican hitting. Katrina didn't hit there as bad in terms of wind and rain.

anyone living south of new orleans, i.e. belle chase, laffite, larose, buras, venice, boothville should just expect to flood in a hurricane. it's a given

Same here . You have 2x6 construction with 3/4 inch plywood THEN bricks and still water comes through the outlet plates?????
