There's been a pretty even split between the doom and gloom camp and the its only a rainshower camp for the last couple of hours IMO.

It could but I'm not seeing much to disagree with the NHC track. That is the same area that I thought that it would come a shore a couple of days ago. Bay mentioned that he thought it would be a good bit west of that area. It might come really close to shore and then drift west some but then any N wobble will bring it ashore.

well, the people with the most posts on TD are usually the ones I trust, so I'd go with their prediction that this will be nothing but a pop up afternoon shower for SELA.

The GFS & Euro model frames you posted have 850 MBS and 900 MBS? Can you explain why they believe the pressure will drop so much from 970 MBS presently?

I'm wondering why the projected track is a little north and east of the average of the models. If the Euro and GFS are more accurate, it shows a COC west of BR, closer to Lafayette.

I'm headed home from work and there is absolutely no one on 10 west in BR.

why wouldn't new Orleans just wait until today to leave? It took locals 4+ hours to go 60 miles yesterday.
