"If the model Hubba posted is right Lafayette, Abbeville, etc are screwed. We just pulled out the boards and have everything ready "in case" ... it can be done quickly for what we need to do. Staying here for the first time (other than IKE) with 2 of our 3 kids .. the oldest is at LSU in BR. I'm thinking I'm glad he didn't come home!"

Why do all these models show Isaac alot farther west than the NHC track, especially as it moves inland?

I'm not saying it will, but the intensification that everyone has been calling for is obviously now happening...and I'd imagine it can happen quickly as slow as this puppy is moving.

It's yet to even rain here in Southeastern Alabama. The forecast, however, is calling for rain Tuesday (today) - Sunday, or something along those lines. There's been just a tad bit of wind.
