Shoulderchoke, i think you still have my email. i work in reserve, so im always traveling through, if there is anything i can do to help let me know.
Thanks Buddy. I'm staying on Annex at a friends house. Tried to go check on the house yesterday, but it was still flooded. Hoping that it subsided enough last night that we can get there today. Both vehicles are there and hopefully not flooded.

Not terribly much. This was my parents' house in River Forest taken around 6pm yesterday, and they had a foot in the house during peak.

Somebody please keep me posted on the electricity situation around Airline and Belle Terre. If Airline is open through there, thats a plus huh?
Posted on 9/1/12 at 1:03 am to JBM210
My dad lives in the subdivision next to Belle Terre and said his house didn't get any water. But my uncle who lives in another subdivision a little bit further down Airline got 6 feet of water!

The water is still high, but it is passable in a FULL size truck. Probably still 12-16" in the streets. My house fricking reeks, lol. I'm going back today to pull the carpet out and grab all my good clothes, so they don't smell like balls.

That's the first thing I did Thursday was to pull carpet from the house. Weighs about 3x more soaked in water.

I wasn't able to make it in Til yesterday, I just photographed everything. Today I have a few people, so I should be able to get a lot accomplished.

I'm sure you have done it already, but make sure you clean out your fridge and freezer.

This bitch that works for the adjusting company called me last night and told me to take all my food and put it in bags and save it encase the adjuster wants inspect it. I was like "yea.... Ok"

Our adjuster is saying the same thing. Don't clean to much so he can see the damage. Easy for him to say; he doesn't have to clean up in the stink.
