The entergy map is showing power for Marrero south of Lapalco, only in one neighborhood west of Barataria.
Some neighborhoods off lapalco near belle chasse hwy have power. And a lot of Gretna, Harvey, and Marrero on the river side of the expwy have power.
Lapalco/Barataria still red.

Scratch that. Wife said they were just evaulating the situation and moved on in Algiers Point. Scuttlebut in the Point is that Entergy is saying it could be next week.

That's awful. Hopefully with them working around the clock, they're going with the under-promise/over-deliver method and algiers will be back sooner than next week.
I heard DeGaulle was unpassable, has flooding subsided? My office is near Lakewood, wondering if I'll be able to get there when I get back to NOLA.

That's as I feared.

I believe deGaulle is now passable towards Lakewood, but I have not seen it myself. i know Rouses is open, FWIW.

Just went to my place across from Lakewood in Algiers and had no problem getting in. Streets are clear

Got a text from Entergy that my power will be back up shortly. In Lakeview right near the Lake.

Argonne near Robert E. Lee supposedly has power, but not my block. Saw 2 more entergy trucks near vets and pontchatrain

I'm currently driving on I-10 to Georgia, an since we got outside of BR on I-12 it has been a constant parade of line trucks going the other way. Help is on the way!

I think they're getting close on this one. Some areas right around it have power, but without knowing the actual situation, I'm just speculating.
