Yard Maintenance Companies? (Weeds, Fertilizer, etc.- not cutting)

Hey H&G,
My 2 year old house for which I originally seeded entirely in Bermudagrass is now probably 85% overrun by Carpetgrass. I 've followed the oft-recommended Randy Lemmon's yard schedule from Day 1, but I am clearly screwing something up because my yard just ain't right.
Can anyone recommend a yard maintenance company that assists with grass health including things like fertilizing, weed control, aerating, dethatching, etc. I am not looking for a grass cutter/mower - I actually like that part. I tried to call a local company called TruGreen but the guy who came out (besides the fact he just walked into my fenced backyard without knocking) said my yard was - and I quote - "hopeless."
Thanks!

Repeat Lemmons schedule for another year. Pay special attention to the amount of products he recommends ( it’s not easy at times depending of the type of deep spreader you have. And also apply the products at the recommended time.

Truegrass here in Lafayette is terrible. I use lawndoctor here and was happy. Maybe they have a franchise in your area.

I'm not sure if your yard guys will know what to do with carpet grass. The only thing I know that will take care of it is Celsius, and that's after 2 applications.

What are you looking to do? Kill the carpetgrass or go ahead and let the other 15% turn into carpetgrass?

I just hired Treppendahl Landscape and got rid of TruGeeen.
I haven't used Treppendahl long enough to give you a detailed review, but thus far I've been very impressed

If you still have Bermuda in there, it’s not hopeless, it just takes some fairly basic steps. This year is probably shot, but you can set yourself up for next year.
At the most basic level, you want 1lb of nitrogen/1k area, 1” water/week, Apply preemergent at the right time, get Celsius for anything the Bermuda and preemergent don’t take out. A healthy Bermuda lawn will just about drown out everything else.
My lawn was absolutely terrible before I started taking care of it correctly. I was on the verge of resodding. It was surprising how quickly it turned around.

Thank you for sharing. I had been using TruGreen for a few years, not super pleased.
Treppendahl hasn't even performed their 1st treatment yet and I've been impressed with their customer service.

I would love to hear similar recs for service in the New Orleans metro area.
My front yard St Augustine has always been pretty immaculate. But there’s new patch near driveway (roughly 8x8 ft) that is struggling this year for unknown reason. And it’s starting to fill in with weeds. I’d like it diagnosed before it potentially spreads.

Just my opinion if you have bermuda that is not a good plan to follow. Also the pre em schedule for all grass types is off for south Louisiana

Ronk, do you have a better plan for Bermuda that I can follow?

Assuming the normal yard that gets a decent amount of summer and winter weeds and then not my yard (I’ll do things that I won’t tell others to do because if I mess it up at least it was my yard.)
Late January/early February-Barricade pre em and spot treat with certainty and atrazine for grassy weeds and Tripower for broadleaf.
March-same as above but if bermuda is greening up pull the atrazine.
Tax day-33-3-6 granular fert at 4lbs per thousand and spot treat with msm. Apply Talstar with verge granular.
Mid May 33-3-6 spot treat with msm. Check for grub damage and apply arena if you find some.
Mid June 33-3-6 spot treat with Celsius
Mid July same
Mid August-same but 33-3-6 at 3lbs per thousand square feet.
Mid September-5-0-20 at 4lbs
First week of October-specticle pre em and Talstar granular
November-0-0-62 granular fert at 4lbs.
That’s pretty close to what I usually do. It’s a lot of products but I could cut it down for something more basic.
