Honestly I picked up the Gotham Steel metal hose during Covid because it’s all the local store had and it’s been incredible for the garden.
I much prefer dealing with it to the rubber hoses ive owned (everything from the red Goodyear to cheap green Walmart hoses).
Just don’t let your wife run it over with her car or it will compress a bit (still works).

All hoses are kink-free if you un-kink them before using.

What’s the point in hoes if they don’t have kinks?
Sorry. I’ll see my way out

I have the zero G hose
Same (using for at least 5 years). Added quick connects/disconnects and its a fantastic combo.
I will add that if you have a rubber hose, the worst thing is to use one of those reel in storage things. That has ruined more hoses for me than I can count.

+1 for the black Craftsman heavy duty one. I haven't had it long but it wraps on a hose reel, hasn't kinked yet, and it's available today at the store.

How long have you had it?
Not sure. At least 4 or 5 years. I use it to wash my vehicles and when we go camping mostly
