I’m too cheap to pay for a guy to come to the house. I’ve had too many shitty pest control experiences.

Another vote for Bifen. You can buy the generic version at Tractor Supply. The active ingredient is 7.9% bifenthrin. One ounce to one gallon of water in a pump sprayer and you are set.

Talstar P is the name brand for Bifenthrin 7.9%. They all have the same active ingredient which is 7.9% Bifenthrin. Here is a link to DoMyOwn Pest Control.

https://www.domyown.com/bifen-it-p-226.html

I used Bifen or the generic stuff from tractor supply and they both work the same. Is very effecttive on 75 different insects. There are many brands out there and they all work well, but if you want cheap and effective, then Bifenthrin is what you want to use.

When I lived in Baton Rouge I would get the Talstar granules from Shenandoah hardware. I would broadcast on my lawn as well as my neighbors lawn and it would last 2-3 years per large bag. I would spray the extrior of the house with Suspend SC. Never had bug problems.

I don't live in Baton Rouge anymore so right now I spray the Talstar P mixed with insect growth regulator and Excite R (pyrethrins). I mist this combination with a mister I bought off of amazon. I get the products from Domyown.com which is do ymy own pest control website. I also spray Suspend SC from a garden sprayer.

If it works for spiders, great. I’ve got them all over the outside of my house and inside my rent house.

Suspend SC
Been using it for years. About twice a year at most. Never a bug problem.
