I just sprayed yesterday evening and realized that the Ferti-lome Weed-Free Zone concentrate I purchased will last me an incredibly long time to the point where it might not be useful down the road. Is there any other type of application I can use with this product other than by itself? Or, if using by itself, how often can I use? This will hopefully be the first growing season that I can get a lot of the bad weeds knocked out earlier than usually. Pending my soil test, I'm hoping to see a lot of improvement in my grass coming next year and would like to be as active as I can.

It's original use is as a stand-alone selective herbicide. It has a temperature limit, but I've used it for years in the spring to knock out weeds in my lawn. Should all be on the label.

I've used it for years on its own, and with the cocktail.

It is a great selective herbicide I use during the season to spot-kill any weeds that made it through my pre-emergent.

Weed free zone is great on many broadleaf weeds as a stand alone. It works pretty well on Virginia buttonweed, too. But once it gets hot you have to shelve it. The atrizine part of the winter cocktail takes care of annual POA. That's a prevalent weed in the winter in South Louisiana.

Good to know. It looks like my biggest concern right now is the never ending clover that's in parts of my yard that are usually saturated the most from torrential rainfall.
