Had free delivery but delivery guy wouldn't install my new electric range. Then he said, for $xxxx he could install a new outlet so he could install the stove.

What kind of sucker does this delivery guy think I am?

Why no 240 outlet in kitchen?

Gas connection instead?

How much is $xxxx?

To be fair you are the one that ordered an electric stove with only a 110 outlet

The short answer is: you won't.

Now, depending on when your house was built you could have connections for gas and electric, will just have to see if the wiring was left available and just needs a whip and to see if there's a 2-pole breaker that you've never used in the panel or the wiring was left to hook one up.

Well, my guess would be the controls might work, but you won’t have heat. Try it and let us know the results.

You'll have to install a 240V outlet. Can't understand someone buying a 240V stove without a 240V outlet to plug it into.
