Does anybody know of a company that does under slab tunneling plumbing repairs in Baton Rouge?

What is your issue, collapsed cast iron drain lines? Complete replacement or partial repair?

Yes. Cast iron went bad from my kitchen sink. It is a partial repair. Didnot find any other issues.

I thought the 2" cast iron trap on my washing machine drain in the slab was the only part that had rusted out. Ended up busting up the slab 24' from the kitchen sink to washing machine to 4" main line to replace all the 2" cast iron that had rusted out on the bottom. Good luck. It was a bad week.

Yea, I used to be on the adjuster side of things and am now out of the loop. Often the line damage was much worse than originally anticipated. Tunneling is a lot less destructive than attacking the inside of the home.

I had the entire drainline inspected with a camera. The only bad part is between my kitchen sink drain and where it ties into a sanitary wye. Everything from that wye to the clean out is good. Matter of time, I know.

I agree
Roto Rooter is operated well in BR.
The other franchises (Nola/lake Charles/lafayette) not so much

Tunneling isn't as common in Baton Rouge as it is in the NOLA area so I can't recommend a plumber. I haven't handled a tunneling claim in a while but they used to charge $100/ft to tunnel and $20/ft to backfill and $450 per base hole (insurance didn't cover the pipe or hangers so not sure of the cost of the material). Ideally you want sand pumped under the slab to backfill as the fill dirt that was removed never really compacts correctly and they end up hauling off a few yards of dirt that once supported your foundation.
I hate when I see people on her recommend Roto Rooter. The franchise in New Orleans does terrible work and WILL rip you off. I've handled 100s of plumbing related claims and they are by far the worst.
