I don't want another chargrill/nexgrill they suck.

What do you suggest for a grand or less?

Weber

Have had mine for 13 years. Only thing I had to do was change out the "flavorizer" plates, which are the v-shaped steel plates that sit right over the burners.

I would recommend biting the bullet and buying a kamado style grill. I bought a Weber genesis and had major rusting issues with the frame after about 5yrs. This was the final straw for me after replacing the flavorizing bars and gas tubes twice. I bought a green egg and haven’t had any issues for two years.

Weber Genesis at the top of your budget, can't beat it.

Weber Spirit at half you budget, but you'll wish you sprung the extra for the Genesis.

Treager. Do yourself a favor and try food cooked on a pellet grill. And also notice how easy it is to use. You will NEVER to back to a gas grill again!

I have a built-in blaze NG grill and a built in Pellet Grill. Its only a year old and one of the temp control lights is already out. The pellet grill is kicking arse.

Oh by the way. You can get any part you need for a Traeger grill on Amazon. I don't sell these things but I am sold on them.

Another vote for Weber. Love mine after owning a 5 burner Charbroil for about 10 years.

Easy to clean is a great selling point and 2 years in, no parts are close to needing any replacing or showing real signs of wear and tear, unlike the Charbroil I had.

Do your research on pellet grills. Traeger is bottom of the barrel.

I had a similar search a while back. The only two quality gas grills I found were Weber and Napoleon.

Weber has the better warranty but both are way better warranties than anyone else I could find for <$1k grills.

shite, for that deal, that's worth driving a few hours for.

OP needs to get on that. It will be sold on FB in about 12 seconds.
