Septic pump failed again. Anyone know of a brand I can buy and install myself?

You talking about aerator pump? If so look up septic solutions website. That’s where I get mine from.

It’s the pump that pumps out when full, not the air at or.

I'm guessing you mean the sump pump....You should be able to buy any one and install it yourself. It's not difficult. I have a "little giant" and it works well but not cheap.

Figure out how many horsepower it is and find a fully cast iron replacement. Zoeller is an excellent brand but you almost have to check out each model with each manufacturer to find good equipment or parts anymore

My septic uses a sump pump to send water through PVC pipe out to a ditch. The pump broke about five years ago and I replaced it in ~15 minutes with a Drummond I got from Harbor Freight for about $100

I fought with this bullshite for years…I have a feeling plumbers want them to fail every 6 months, because it is quite a revenue stream. I found that mine was installing rebuilt pumps. When I got that stopped, they lasted quite a bit longer.

The real problem though, was rainwater leaking in through the sump lid. Every time it would rain, my treatment plant was draining half the yard! I finally convinced an installer to help me and he lined up someone to put some grout around the lid, sealing the lid. I also put about a 6” pile of dirt over it. I haven’t had to replace a pump in about 3 years.

I am expecting to have to replace one within the week since I said all of that!

Should be simple man. It will either have its own float built in and you just wire to it or if you have a external float you will have to run the 110ac hot thru the external float and then to the hot on the pump.
