Whichever you choose, water on the same day each week. Once a week should be fine.

Those are pretty toxic for cats. My wife brought home a cat one day and I had to get rid of my scheffleras and draecanas.

Agree, except he said basically no sunlight. These need some sunlight. We love our fiddle-leaf figs, but with the little sun we get, have to move it around quite a bit to replenish

White candles- whitfielda elongata
Never heard of it being toxic to pets from any grower or nursery. It flowers in shade and has a deep green foliage. Should get to about 4' tall.

Sansevieria

Lots of different varieties, only need to water like once a month. Can take very little light.
