Just want to throw in that the attic tents are a cheap and effective

Or if one needed to replace their roof, they could go with the lightest color, closest to white, as possible - if they could tolerate the color and their HOA (if applicable) would allow it (not likely).
That alone can reduce attic temp near 20 F in summer. Posted on 7/30/26 at 11:18 am to Tygerfan
I put it up in a pole barn with a metal roof/siding when it was built and it stays pretty cool in there. Will probably add it to my attic at some point.
