Pest control DIY?

Got rid my pest control and termite company after the contract ended. What is recommended for outdoors and indoors? And where in the BR area is best to purchase?

We've had quite a few threads on this. Cheapest route is probably to buy some bifenthrin 7.9% and a pump sprayer. 1 oz to 1 gallon of water, spray baseboards, cracks, crevices, under appliances, under sinks, etc.
Suspend is also a good product but costs a little more than bifenthrin based products.

These products are for general pest control. Not termites.

I handle my own pest control but for termites. Really only keep them around for resale/damage coverage in the event of an infestation.
I spray ~3 times a year with either Demand CS and Duraflex ZC based on whatever I have on hand at the time. Both take care of wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, etc. I generally just spray the soffit/fascia, door thresholds and frames, corners, and other places where bugs tend to congregate. I also spray pretty liberally in my garage.

I use Agrisel Zone Plus.
36.8%Permethrin. I mix 4oz to a 1.25 g sprayer for around a 2% solution and it works great. If you have cats, make sure they aren't around when it's wet because for some reason it kills cats if they get wet. But they also use it as a dog/animal dip for fleas but guess it's because a cat will over clean and lick too much of it.
Smells like death, but I use this around the inside AND outside of the house and it has good residuals. I even used it on my apple trees to control stink bugs. I got mine from Amazon but the Amazon link doesn't show as much as the diy pest control link does.

Sounds like you did that backwards
I am a regular at domyown, and use Taurus SC for termites. I also use Demon Max on the exterior of the house every fall, and Talstar P throughout my yard and when I need to hit up the bathrooms & kitchen area indoors.

I find the best way for me is to treat the lawn. If pests are not in your lawn, they have a hard time getting into your house. I put granular lawn insect killer (Bug-B- Gone or similar) on my lawn 4 times per year. I have no pests in my home...
It also keeps possible harmful chemicals out of your home.

Following. 3/4 pest control companies, that we have used, have not been great. The one that we were satisfied with, sold to another company and it’s been subpar.

Currently using Suspend but highly recommend cy-kick also

I’ve had good luck with D-Fense SC. It’s cheap and effective. Be sure to check compatibility with any insecticide and your pets.
Permethrin and deltamethrin is highly toxic for cats, for example.

Cy-Kick cs works very well. I usually rotate that with Talstar throughout the year.

Go re-read that contract. It’s highly likely that they aren’t guaranteeing much of anything, and they rarely pay for anything other than bug treatment in the event that there’s an infestation. So you’re on the hook for actual damage repair.

The post above is probably on spot. I read the contract for my termite bond renewal and the fine print was BS. No liability for damages, repair or follow-up treatment. Just an agreement to send them money every year to do an annual walk around inspection.
I treat my own house and yard several times a year for much less money. If I have infestation or damage, it's on me... just like the fine print in their bond.

Suspend.....I spray in and around the house 2 or 3 times a year at most.
If you have a brick house spray in the openings of the bottom row where there is no mortar. Spray around all windows too. And keep your house clean.
