Upon over-thinking your design for a second time and finding out you have a Primo, I'd also suggest doing a built-in for the Primo, doing away with the gas grill all together, and adding a 2 burner cook top to be able to cook stuff in pots/pans.

Me personally I'd only be using the gas grill if I wanted to cook something in a hurry and don't want to mess with lighting the charcoal grill. The griddle can accomplish all of the same things I'd do on the grill and then some. A gas grill and gas griddle would become two redundant appliances to me and would probably find myself using the griddle a whole lot more.

Ditch the griddle and add a griddle insert in grill, that’s what i did and do not regret it.

Yea, that is not going to happen. I want that griddle.

I am leaning towards adding the 36" Coyote pellet grill instead of the gas grill, keeping the 32" griddle and just getting rid of my Primo. My lanai is somewhat small and I was going to have a hard time finding a place to keep it anyway. I use the Primo a good bit but honestly, for what I do, the pellet grill will be more user friendly and between that and the griddle, I think I can cover everything.

Thats the way I am leaning now to clean things up and make it all more efficient.

i dont have an outdoor kitchen so my idea may not be that great, but if it were me i'd see if i could put a full size sink and remove the fridge to the left of the grill and put the grill in its place. now you have a ton prep space to the right of the grill and counter space to put clean dishes drying. maybe even put that sink on the wall to the right so you have even more space to the right of the grill.

I am going to do something similar. I am changing the gas grill to a pellet grill, losing that extra 24" fridge I have not decided on the sink yet but that sink is bigger than my sink in my kitchen so I honestly think it will be big enough for what I am going to use it for. I am going to leave the griddle where it is. I like it there. That's a 9 foot bar island and it should be enough. I am asking about pricing to add another 6' bar section at the end of the bar but coming back towards the house to make somewhat of a "U" shape to give me more seating/gathering space. Just depends on the price

Some here recommended an Ice maker which is a hell of an idea. They are kinda pricy, about 4K, and I will be adding a 300 pound capacity ice maker in my garage for my fishing trips and I think I will just keep a cooler back there and transfer ice from the garage. I really dont want 2 ice makers. When I lose the 24" fridge, I am going to add some storage there. Just looking at all the options now

Thanks for all the advice. Looking forward to getting this thing done.

One thing that I would highly recommend is having a gas stovetop instead of a griddle. You can always get a custom made griddle to go on top. This is much more versatile for cooking in general

Well, we finished our design and measured fit yesterday. We changed a few things and honestly, this is by far our best design for the space we have there on the Lanai. Saved some space and utilized the kitchen space the best as well as gave us some seating that will always be in the shade and out of the weather.

I did change the gas grill for a 36" Coyote pellett grill. I think that with the griddle is going to cover everything we do. Anyone in central Florida who is looking for a like new, Primo XL400,let me know. I will just sell it. Space is at a premium here

Sink is adjusted to a 21" sink which is 16.5"x18" ID. That is bigger than my sink in our kitchen now so it should be big enough for what I am doing back there.

Deleted one fridge and moved the other over to the bar side which now has 3 additional seating spaces due to the 6' addition. Height of bar top is 38-1/2" all around. Granite counter tops throughout.

The black foam I have on the floor of my pavers is the turn of the bases of the units. There is a 10" overhang past that on the bar side.... I may not be able to use my 24"x24" cutting block but if I cant find a usable place for it, I will get rid of it then. I looked yesterday while I was test fitting but I just cant figure out where to put it where it usable and not in the way

Left the wife half the lanai for chairs and a couch so she is happy. Gave myself some shaded space for morning coffee and breakfast and some seating that looks out the lanai over the lake in our back yard instead of just staring at the house...

Thanks for the advice. Will post some pictures once we move in and install it. May be a few months as our builder is slow as shite. Getting blueprints made today for the kitchen
