Looking to purchase about 4 maybe 5 crepe myrtles. Taller the better if price is reasonable.

Any recommendations on the northshore? Slidell, lacombe, Covington, Folsom, etc.

Banting’s in Lacombe may have 30g’s. They can get you anything Windmill has.

Pretty Trees in Covington.

Go to your neighbors house and pick up a bunch of the seed pods, start growing them in pots and then transplant

This was always my go to. Grew some beautiful tall ones on just a few years. The ones on my property were about 15 feet tall. Just trying to save about 3 years of growth.

I told my Dad I was planning on cutting one of mine down. He drove 1.5 hours just to watch it die.

That might be worth a trip to Forest Hill, LA….particularly if you want to get any other plants.

There are VERY MANY different varieties. They max out at different heights- so know what you’re buying.

I’d do the same. Absolutely hate them.

Cut down all of them at my old house, moved and the new house has probably 30 on property. Drives me insane
