Need a New Weedeater

Need a new Weedeater and have narrowed it down to 4. The husky 525LST, 525LK, Echo 2620T and Stihl FS94R. I like the huskys and probably leaning to the 525lst but wanted some opinions. Not sure I would use the attachments of the LK but threw that in there as well in case anyone has it.

The echo is neck and neck with the 525lst. Can't decide between the two. Both are really easy to start and have plenty of torque.

My buddy that's a yard pro has a whole fleet of 2620t's that he swears by. That's what got me looking at them. Our hunting property is in eastern Baldwin county near cantonment and brush is really thick and heavy in areas so we need a machine with plenty of torque.

My echo is 14 year old and going strong. Would never consider anything else.

At the bottom of my list but still considering them. I've owned 2 and a chain saw and all 3 were as high maintenance as a broad.

Stihl.
it's a man's weedwhacker.
and no need to babysit with fuel in a can gay pride crap.

I'd definitely consider the ECHO PAS or Stihl Kombi or whatever the Husky is. I have the Echo Pas 225, i'd also go bigger as the 225 has adequate power for what I need but I'd get a min 25cc if buying again.

I’ve always recommended Stihl or Echo. I have the FS94R and it’s been great. It’s powerful for what I need and incredibly light. I added a Darwin Grip and have trimmed for hours at a time. It’s light and powerful, but also has a smaller fuel tank.

Yea that's a big no for me. The whole reason I need a knew one. I have the Echo 58v PAS model and while it's a beast no doubt, the battery is bad after only 2 years and it costs almost as much as a new one. Sorry, I need more than two years out of something that expensive.

Strongly recommend the Stihl 94r. It has a great power to weight ratio.

Looking for one also. My Wally World Murray finally tapped out after 9 years of hell. Ran over a couple times, left out in the rain, probably tossed around a couple time from it not cooperating.

Had a stihl FS38 and had a number of issues but YMMV. I got the ego with auto feed and love it.
