I've had it with cheap hedge trimmers, 16-18 in. models and such. Need suggestions on good quality hedge trimmer. Someone recommended EGO 26in on another thread. Any other suggestions? Not totally opposed to gas trimmer, but they're pricey. Thanks.

I have a bunch of Milwaukee cordless tools, so I opted for their 24” model a couple years back so I didn’t have to have multiple battery platforms. It’s done the job pretty well so far.

Redmax. The 600R will slice anything that fits between the blades and the motor is bulletproof.

I’ve not used the EGO trimmer, but a friend has one and likes it. I do like my EGO mower, weed eater, and chainsaw. I will probably buy their hedge trimmer relatively soon.

I’m a fan of 2 cycle yard tools. Stihl HS 56 with 24” blades. Can cut a 3/4 in branch/stem etc. awesome tool.

Can't go wrong with stihl.
I have the hl91k and it is ridiculous how easy it hedges bamboo.
Used it this morning to cut back some.

I have an Echo 2 cycle I bought from Home Depot over 12 years ago. I’ve never changed a spark plug, air filter, nothing, and it still runs great. I’m getting older now and wish it was a little lighter. If you need to do little basic trimming I’d probably go electric. If you are going to be using the thing often I’d buy an Echo or Stihl 2 cycle.

I have a Dewalt 20 volt that I've been completely satisfied with. Picked it up at the neighbor's estate sale after her husband died and she was moving to assisted living for $10 w/ 2 batteries and a charger.

I'm sure all the quality cordless ones are just as good.
