Switching out from Samsung appliances I think.

Just had to buy a new oven/range to replace the first Samsung appliance.

Went with GE. Everything on the internet said GE is the best right now for mid-grade appliances.

Just wondering what the board's thoughts are. I figure you guys do a lot more research than I did.

I switched from GE to whirlpool for several things at least five years ago. The fact that I can’t remember exactly how long ago we did that is a good sign.

Depends on the specific appliance.

Got a Hisense fridge with a 5y Lowe's warranty (during covid supply problems). With the warranty it was still cheaper than the GE/maytag by a lot!

It had good features, works well, but started beeping randomly 3 years in.
After a call out or two, they sent a full refund for the fridge amount. I bought the same thing with the same warranty and moved the old one to my garage where I don't care if it beeps.

Not saying that's always the way to go, but I basically got a free extra fridge
