Was hiking a BREC park on Frenchtown Rd. There's some bamboo in there big as coke cans. Not sure if cutting some is allowed

I had no clue there was bamboo that big around here. Some big as your forearm.

Ride up and down the nearest river until you see some growing in someone's yard. I used to have a bunch where I lived and once a year or so someone would stop and ask if they could cut some. I always let them and I'm sure most people would.

No help to provide... just came here to see how many jumped all over you because that thought you were going to plant bamboo, LOL.

the only good bamboo is either cut and cured or in someone else’s yard

Search for bamboo on Facebook in youngsville. They got a guy selling it for a dollar for foot for the big stuff. That's pretty cheap.

Tommy you are the man. Thank you so much.
it wound up being 30 10’ poles.
I’ll holler at you if I need more and I’ll let you know when your persimmons are ready. Have a great summer

Take at least one segment and make a flute out of it. It will be the most rewarding thing you've ever done in your life.

Corten steel, sure. If the the wrong type of bamboo starts growing in the ground, good luck
