The over started weird, it was running 100 degrees over knob temp, but seems to have stabilized a little.

I have a ThermoWorks Square Dot to adjust the temperature offset on my oven. Don't know if that's an option with your model but you can use its averaging function to see if there is a zone in the oven that's closer to the set temp.

yeah I need to dick around it some more, there may also be an adjustable thermostat on the range somewhere. I used it again last night to roast some vegetables and it was closer to knob temp so maybe it just needed a break in. It’s been 20 years since I had a gas oven

I’m using a thermoworks dot to measure chamber temp

I traded some shite I had for a nearly new porter cable saw. I haven’t fired it up yet but it looks nice

Well, if it's a PCX362010, it might fire itself up.

My Dewalt jobsite saw has been a work horse for me for 13+ years. I combine it with a Dewalt folding miter saw stand and a platform I built for it to do most rip cuts for smaller projects, I have a track saw to break down sheet goods. I have some tall roller supports for in-feed and out-feed when needed so I can handle 16' material with a setup I can put away into a corner of my storage area. I'd like a cabinet saw when I have the room for one, something with a 240V motor and plenty of iron.

yeah I’m looking forward to actually being able to make straight cuts LOL. I’ll be out of town for 3 weeks but I’m starting the trim job when I get back so I can get all my wood floors and trim done at once.

I pulled the nasty carpet off the stairs so I’m going to trim the inside and outside of the 2x treads and risers and have those cleaned and stained. Will definitely look better and fine with me

My stairs don't have carpet but the oak treads were badly done and the straight nails used have loosened and some of them squeak now. Once I get around to redoing the upstairs flooring that will be one of the additional projects.

Ain't a damn thing wrong with that orchid. Once the flowers die off, they will send up new stalks to produce more orchids. I've got orchids that are at least 5 years old now and they produce new flowers at least 4-5 times a year.

E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This orchid is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! Cgrand, just perused through your renovation, looks awesome, a few questions about who you used for different jobs, especially since I live right down the road.

Mr Sandless-you used a local to Hammond group? I'm needing my antique pine floors refinished

Who did your brick tiling? I saw you said they did a great job, and they sure look good.

After some time with the new range, still love it? I need to replace an old garland commercial unit in my kitchen and am seriously looking at the Blue Star. I want something thats closed to as beefy as the commercial unit we have now. We are on propane as well.

Also, what plumber do you use in the area? Have no had good luck with that.

there’s a Sandless franchise in BR and one in Covington, I used Andy from BR and he/they are awesome. 10/10 recommendation.

text me 5049157123 I’ll send you the brick mason’s contact information he lives in Hammond.

The blue star is everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t want. Yes you should get one. Campos in Metairie had the best price and were great to deal with. I love it.

Chris Wrinkles did the plumbing. He’s a good friend of mine so it’s likely he extended himself more for me than he might for others, but you won’t find a better plumber. Worth a try, if he’s not all bowed up with other work I’m sure he’d do it for you

Good luck if you need any help let me know

As to the project we took a 6 week break for family shite and a long vacation, about to try and finish up. I’ve ordered the cabinet hardware, picked up the wood beams from the mill, and picked out paint for the kitchen. Just need another set of hands to knock all this out, coming soon

Before I renovated, the house I'm in had puke green painted by choice on every wall and ceiling throughout the home. The bathroom had hummingbird accent wallpaper which made it all come together though.

Looks a fuggup where one of the beams lands on the a/c register. Optic illusion or you have a plan?
