Will this little cool front lessen its effect?

Celsius works better (faster) at higher temps.

I may try next weekend depending on rain.

I put down pre-emergent about a month ago and hit the remaining weeds with winter weed cocktail.

I've never used Celsius, but I'm assuming I can use this moving forward for any weeds that slip through the pre-emergent?

No. I mean you can but I’d use something with a <85 degree temp recommendation on the label. Speedzone/image/etc

I’ll just wait. The speed free zone didn’t knock out a few weeds. I’ve had good results with Celsius last year.

Use msm right now. It’s cheap with broad spectrum control. Slow acting though. As others have said save the Celsius for the summer.

How close do you get to live oaks with the msm?

Up to the base. I sent oak limbs to A&M for testing this summer. 3 apps of msm and no damage. Correct application rates should lead to no damage.

How’s that for an answer?

Nothing beats the home/garden board.

Msm has a warning that it can cause damage to trees, specifically oak. I’ve overseen 120,000 apps of msm and never seen damage. In my opinion msm is the most environmentally friendly herbicide on the market.

Is it safe to use during green up? I know Celsius says it can be used during green up with no harm.

As long as you use it at label rate it is safe.

I use Celsius year round. It still works in the colder temps. It just might take a bit longer to work in the cold rather than warmer temps.

Anyone know if its safe to tank mix a postemergent (Celsius/MSM/Image) with a preemergent like prodamine?
