That pool builder would be filing for bankruptcy if that was my pool.

Knowing my luck I’d spend in lawyer fees what it cost to build the thing only to have the PB file bankruptcy before it made it to court and open up under a different name.

My parents are in year two of litigation on a horrible roofing job. It’s a mansard roof, cost $33,000, and had shingles falling off of it within two weeks. The state inspector got involved, and the situation is not resolved after so said company came out and made repairs. My dad is 78, a Vietnam veteran, and mom is 76. They don’t deserve this but unfortunately it’s hard to get your money out of shady or incompetent builders of anything.

That's a terrible job. It looks like a vinyl liner pool which are some of the easiest to install. The walls of the pool are likely polymer panels that get put together like a kit and then you backfill it. The panels come manufactured from a plastics company and absolutely are level and fit together nicely.

I can't believe nobody ever put a level on the polymer walls and I can't believe it took somebody 1.5 years to build it.

One of the selling points of a Vinyl liner pool is how fast they can be built by a competent contractor. This was not a competent contractor that did this job.

I feel bad for the homeowners.

someone smarter than me needs to explain this 'deckless' pool design to me because clearly i'm missing something.

Don't look to me for help. That is insane the way it is set up. Hell, at least build a raised deck to one side and dress it up with some nice outdoor furniture for sitting and a table and throw in a BBQ pit for entertaining.

He might as well have a cheap above ground pool with the aluminum 2 sided ladder.

Looks like it was built on a slope, the end facing the fence appears like it's not completely underground or they had to bring in some dirt. Hence the retaining wall, wonder if it's a settling issue?

Had a neighbor whose pool sunk on one end, about 15 years after it was built. After many tests, quotes, suggestions etc., he had to have it torn out and rebuilt. Was a nightmare.

Couldn’t they just add some rocks to the left side of the pool floor to raise it?

I put in an 18 foot above ground pool with nothing but my eyes and a shovel for leveling. Came within an inch and called it a day. I came a lot closer than these guys did.

Is there anything we can do to level this out short of ripping up the whole pool?

Have Lizzo stand in place of the dog.
