Hot room solution with central air

So I've complained before here about one room being hotter than the rest. It's my bedroom. It's the furthest away from the plenum, and a western facing wall. Well I added this "Infinity Fan" based on a rec from an AC guy. And so far I love it. The speeds are variable, its programmable, and really moves air.

I bought a register booster for my daughters room and it has worked great. Just replace the existing register with the booster and turn on the fans. You can set the desired temperature as well

Bedroom has one duct or two? How’s the insulation above it?

2 Vents, but one duct split to 2 vents. About 6' apart. House has spray foam insulation on underside of roof.

Had this exact issue in the sunroom/ kitchen area of my home, western facing and all windows. My AC guy put a 12" X 12" return in that area and it has made a world of difference. From what I understand, I could add add'l returns, like one in my bedroom, if I wanted more cool air. He explained it as removing the hot air and No matter what, the hot air has to go somewhere regardless of the amount of cold air you are pushing in.
Cost was $150, but that was 15 years ago. Had my new guy quote adding a return in the bedroom and it would be $250.

Have you had someone look if there are dampers anywhere on your ducts? Especially at the plenum.
We have had houses with warm rooms and solved the problem with some simple adjustments of the dampers. If not, these might be something to install.

I have the same issue same setup in master - furthest , west, 8 windows, but the weirdest thing, in the winter, its still warm in the room not cold.

Its like a greenhouse, the windows and the sun keep it warm. Not that strange really, we have a condo that is this way also. Its warm in that room almost all year when the sun is out.

I posted a thread about insulating the attic floor if you have spray foam on the roof deck. Most responses and some online research said you shouldn't add insulation to the ceiling/attic floor if you have spray foam insulation.
But I assume you could do it if it was minimal.

I had this problem. Then I put I think it was solar shades. They cut out a lot of the heat coming in. You could see out, people couldn’t see in during the day.

Its not hot up there. I dont have a thermometer but Its def way cooler than non spray foamed attics. I dont break out in a sweat up there. So prob close to like 70-73
