When I called I was asked about occupants vs income and when I was above the threshold I was asked if I was a lot above.

So answering no to that is the bypass.

Nice, that was me inquiring about it a few months ago - glad it worked out for you! We have entergy and I haven't gotten around to signing up for it yet. Looks like I need to bump that up on the priority list.

I called after the last thread about it. Got to the last question about income and was told I don’t qualify. I don’t recall the exact amount but I want to say they asked if we had a household income above $50k or something low. It may have just been the particular person I talked to. But I’ve called at the last 2 houses and been told the same thing.

Hi, I’m an energy efficiency contractor(Asyndant Energy, Inc, asynd.com)servicing the Cleco Power Wise residential energy efficiency program. Both Cleco and Entergy companies have Income Qualified and standard energy efficiency programs available to all utility customers. I can help.

Bumping this - I signed up because of this thread. About 2 weeks later I got a call from the scheduler and the guys came out last week. 3 dudes spent ~6 hours at my house sealing up all kinds of areas - plumbing, under cabinets, re-sealed doors, and spent multiple hours in the attic sealing up my HVAC. 20 year home so there were quite a few inefficiencies. They also replaced a dozen light bulbs and left me with a pack of 24 to keep. They ran a before test with total airflow cubic foot loss and then an after test once they finished sealing everything up.

I was quite impressed how thorough they were in the whole process and even more shocked that something like this was actually no cost. Highly recommend it

There is no income qualification through CLECO's program

I get that the initial assessment is free but is that just a way for them to give you a list of all things that they recommend, and then you have to pay to get all that done?

Definitely not. They came to my house in BR which is not Bocage but definitely not income challenged and did the whole 9 yards for free. Blower door test helped me find some things to improve tightness. It’s a great program.
When you go to sign up for Entergy on their webpage it asks about income.

I was still able to get mine done by calling instead.

Any minor fixes are completed by the company at the time of the assessment.

I didn't qualify for the income qualified assessment, so it took me to the Home Performance Audit. It states:

he Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program reduces the up-front cost of installing energy-efficiency upgrades in your home.
Energy Star

You know every inch of your home, but do you know its energy health? Depending on the improvements you choose, you could save up to 20 percent or more on your annual utility bill.

Sign up today for your free Home Performance with ENERGY STAR audit.

I recently moved into new construction. Can I have them come out and assess? I think I’m over the income threshold. I assume I just call Entergy?
