I am looking at one that had the batteries stolen for more than 1/2 off,

How much $ to replace the batteries? It may cost you $300-550 per battery x 6.
50% off sounds like a good deal for the seller

The Greenworks Pro 60V 8.0 Ah (needed for their riding mower) is $350 each. 6 of those is $2100 before tax.

60V 42" Cordless Battery CrossoverT Riding Lawn Mower w/ Six (6) 8.0Ah Batteries and Three (3) Dual Port Turbo Chargers
Let's break down the prices:
Total price on Greenworks website = $3800
6 60V 8.0Ah batteries = $2100
3 60V charges = $450
Total remaining = $1250
Mind you these are all BEFORE taxes
I would probably just buy brand new.

So the batteries are 55% of the cost and OP has offer of 50% off needing to replace said batteries. OP is coming out 5% short, or on the short end of the deal by 5%, however you wanna phrase it.

Not to mention the wear and tear on the mower already. Blades may need replacing. Already dwindled. As mentioned OP may need to buy at least one of the chargers. If they want to repeatedly charge batteries in sets of two at a time, that's fine. $150+ for a compatible charger.
If OP doesn't need the charger, "half" the price of the current sale price is $1900.
Unless OP pays less than $1250 (one-third of the actual price), they're not getting a deal in any way possible, even if the depreciation/wear & tear is imaginary. Again, just buy a new one outright, comes with a warranty, etc.

Don’t know if the mower works with two of these batteries or one or four?but they are $350 each and $150 for the dual charger. The mower looks basically new and blades are sharp and straight.

FYI, E--Bay has 3rd party (i.e., knock-off) batteries, $100 each (give or take).

What I want to know is how many of these batteries does it take to run the mower? They want $1900 for the mower with no batteries, not sure if they have the charger.

Man do not buy this shite. They are fleecing you.
It takes every single battery which is why they come with all six of them. They’re trying to make a lot of money off a shitty situation that happened to them.

Don't trust the reliability of these battery operated mowers. I have a Ryobi battery powered push mower that has a huge battery. Fully charged and all I got out of it was 5 passes across my 120ft. yard. The grass was a little taller than usual but c'mon....and extra batteries are very expensive.
Give me the old gas guzzlers anytime!

It would only remotely make sense if you already have some of their 60V tools with batteries

Older Ryobis are awful. The newer ones are better but they are still only 40V and I would go no less than EGO's 56V mower. Electric is fine if you do not have very high grass and maintain your lawn regularly, just liek any other mower.
Less internal parts that can break on a gas mower, better storage capability, fuel savings, and usually lighter weight. They're fine.

This mower comes with four or six batteries. I asked them what their bottom was on mower alone and they sold it to me for $500,with three
Dual bank chargers. The mower has Never been used. I ordered four 60v 8ah batteries they were $350: each. We’ll see.
