Used to live in a rural area where some lady dumped a bunch of cats, didn't see a snake there for years. I always assumed it was more from the cats killing all the food, than them actually killing snakes.

I've only been around two jack russells and they were both like this. Neither had any training.

Mine's actually half jack Russell and half rat terrier. A perfect dog, IMO. We were just out back hunting rats in the chicken coop, as a matter of fact.
