Looking for ways to get rid of them. Even with my fans going they are still bad.

Fly Trap

I get these at Home Depot for about $6 each. They work like a champ. I place them about 25 feet from the porch. I have 2 and both are half full with dead flies. I use 2 at a time and keep a spare. Don’t put them close to outdoor chairs or grill. It smells. And it works.

Spray the walls , soffit fascia with fipornil (Taurus sc) you won’t have flies, wasps or anything else (except horseflies, those bastards live through it all) for several months, spray your yard with it and no more ants either

Thanks for the info on these. We've been having hell with flies of all types this year.

I use these also and I have to change them out weekly. They are nasty and full by that time. I am surrounded by woods and get a lot of flies and gnats. This works for both of them.

I bought something similar (but a bag instead of a can) from ACE Hardware last year when flies invaded my house. I hung the bag outside. It caught the flies immediately and somehow there were no more in the house. However, it also drove up the fly traffic in the area where I hung the bag. When I got rid of it, the flies quit coming inside and out.

Irish spring soap works for me. Cut the bars into multiple pieces and lay them around your patio.

Quikstrike fly bait will do the trick. If you have kids, make sure you inform them how dangerous it can be. If you have pets, make sure you put it where they can’t get to it.

This is after about 24hrs on my back porch. The stuff comes in a small, blue, granular form. Put a tablespoon in an old bowl that you can put a lid on and dispose of later. Then pour an ounce of beer in the bowl and swirl around. I’ve literally had hundreds in the bowl after a week. Pretty disgusting.

I just bought one of these, and they work great! Not to mention they are a ton of fun! I sat on my patio today and killed flies like there was no tomorrow. I counted 128 flies dead! Had so much fun my wife (no pics) ordered one for herself!
