Great. I get compliments all the time. Right now I'm trying to decide on what height I want to keep it maintained.

I'm about go fork out a metric shite ton of money and do my backyard which will be about 50 pallets of 419.

Tif 419
More readily available (most sod suppliers will have it).

celebration
More shade tolerant. I see there's some in Welsh, LA

Tif is about 60 years old and Celebration is about 40. I'd expect Celebration to outperform Tif in most categories but not by much. Celebration has a more blue hue.

Any thoughts on what would be the best fungicide to use for large patch. I would like to rotate something with propiconazole to keep it under control.

I have a couple of Water Oaks with a high canopy and have tried both Empire and Palisades sod pieces. They just slowly faded out in the shadow of the trees and one or both (I can’t tell the difference between them) grow well just outside that.

Not Ronk, but I rotate azoxystrobin because Ronk recommended it.

The most common source I found for it was Scott's disease x granular.

That’s one of the best options.

So I've got about a 1' x 1' spot of bermuda in the middle of my ~1,200 sq ft. of St aug...

I wonder, with the full growing season in front of us, if I could have a bermuda lawn by October....

Thoughts??

Being in the middle helps it spread to each side, but I’d still say probably a <1% chance it takes over in 1 growing season. Especially if your St. Aug is healthy.

You’ll have a good amount of space with Bermuda/St Aug mixed though.

Yeah, I might do something crazy like glyphosate, hand level, and seed.
Looks like shite anyway with Carolina geranium and black medic or oxalis. Don’t care to look…
