Other than my wife . (No pics) I have never had a dishwasher that really seemed to work that well/I was satisfied with. I also have never actually had to buy a dishwasher so I don’t know what to look for.

Bosch.

Make sure it's less than 50 decibels. I don't think Bosch makes one over 50.

Everyone here will recommend Bosch, they are great but pricey. Got a Maytag recently and like it a lot. Much more affordable.

I bought the entry level Bosch, and it was around $600-700. Extremely quiet, perfect washes, and I love it! Can't imagine how the ones that cost 4x's more are 4x's better!

Bosch. Ours is 12 years old and we have had one minor issue that I fixed myself.

Yea we have this one, the lowest model in the series, and it works wonderfully. Much better than the GE that was in the house when we bought it.

+1 for Bosch

I really like the top tray for silverware. Most of theirs have this- I think

I hear you on that. We are planning a new house and looking at appliance options. Bosch owns and makes Thermador appliances. Thermador is a higher end brand known for their ranges but their dishwashers look almost identical and some of them are up to $2k

People will say Bosch but the Kitchen Aid we have does really well. Think it was $1099. Has a third rack. It’s top of the line.

Just went through this myself.

After mounds of research I ended up with a great deal on a kitchenaid. Checked with a local sears hometown store and they had a floor model only but had it on sale for $812. Got lowes to match it for an in box unit. Great reviews. Extremely quiet and cleans very very well. Wife had to have the heated dry. Was a must for her.

This is the same one we are getting. Last two houses we have rented had high-end Bosch with stainless steel tubs. They cleaned well and were quiet, but my wife also insists on a heated dry capability after years of drying the Tupperware while putting dishes up.

We bought a Kitchen Aide dishwasher about a year ago and couldn't be happier. It's very quiet you can't tell its running and dries the best I've seen a dishwasher dry. It's only been a year so no problems yet. We had a maytag before and it kept breaking.

We have a french door kitchenaid refrigerator we really like. Looks like we will be deciding between Kitchenaid and Bosch. Any certain features we should look for?

We have a kitchen aid and been happy. My favorite aspect of our dishwasher is that it is about 1 foot above ground level with a cabinet drawer beneath it. Makes it real easy to load and Unload without straining the back

I have Bosch and I would not get another one. Definitely want something with a heating element next time.
